Orton-Gillingham
Intervention
Welcome to Learn2Read!
Hi! My name is Amanda. I am the founder and sole practitioner behind Learn 2 Read, where I provide one-on-one and group Orton-Gillingham (OG) instructional sessions for students with dyslexia and other literacy-based learning differences.

As a certified OG Practitioner with OG Canada,I use the OG approach–an evidence-based approach designed to teach students how to read so that they can read to learn. The OG approach is highly structured, sequential, and multi-sensory, helping students develop literacy skills through explicit instruction in phonological awareness, decoding, spelling patterns, and reading comprehension. Rather than relying on memorization, students learn to understand the structure and patterns of the English language.

I work closely with families to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that is tailored to each child's unique, helping students to build both literacy skills and self-confidence. Whether you're just beginning to seek support or have been searching for the right fit, I’m excited to be a part of your child's education journey!
