Why 1:1 Sessions?

One-on-one sessions are designed to provide individualized support to meet your child exactly where they are in their learning journey. Each session is tailored to your child’s unique needs and learning style, and are ideal for students who benefit from focused attention or may need additional support to build confidence and skills. Other students who may benefit from one-on-one sessions include those who:

Need significant remediation in foundational literacy skills
Struggle with attention or anxiety in group settings
Have more co-occurring learning profiles

If you are on the Learn 2 Read Waitlist, I will reach out by email when there is a suitable match. This initial connection will include a few questions to better understand your child’s learning needs and schedule.

If you're interested in moving forward, I will invite you to a free in-person meet & greet session. This is a great opportunity to put a face to the name, see the learning environment, and discuss your child’s unique needs.

If you would like to proceed, you’ll be asked to complete a Learn 2 Read In-Take Form so I can learn more about your child.

Once I receive the in-take form, I will

send you an email with your Learn 2 Read service agreement.

After your service agreement is signed and returned, we’ll schedule your child’s first session and officially begin their Orton-Gillingham (OG) journey!

My son began a wonderful journey of working with Amanda to support the development of his literacy skills. We sought out Amanda due to her expertise with the Orton-Gillingham program, as we believed it would enhance our son's academic and social emotional progress.
